Management of construction and outage activities for four Entergy Northeast nuclear plants. Site Safety Manager, Charlestown Navy Yard Project, USACE - Responsible for providing part-time management of all Safety and Health activities during remediation activities for a USACE Remediation Project. Directly interfaced with the Army Corp of Engineers and the site subcontractor regarding safety and health issues. Provided contractor oversight for remediation activities, abrasive blasting and painting activities, and hazardous waste management and disposal operations. Contaminants of concern included lead, PCBs, and dioxins.
Site Safety Manager, Pownal USEPA Superfund Project - Responsible for managing all Safety and Health activities during remediation, demolition and construction activities for a $7 million US EPA Superfund Project. Assisted in development of the Site Safety and Health, Asbestos Abatement, and Air Monitoring Programs. Conducted site inspections, incident investigations, training, air monitoring, recordkeeping, medical surveillance, respiratory protection and fit testing. Directly interfaced with the Army Corp of Engineers and site subcontractors regarding safety and health issues. Provided contractor oversight for asbestos abatement activities, confined space activities, UST removal, building demolition, landfill cap construction, building construction, hazardous waste operations, and site work. Conducted QC functions to ensure compliance with Army Corp requirements. Assisted in site sampling efforts for initial analysis and confirmation. Assisted in soil sampling and testing efforts. Contaminants of concern included asbestos, PCBs and dioxins various mixed hazardous wastes.

Site Safety Manager (Part-time), USEPA Superfund, Raymark Project - Responsible for providing part-time management for all Safety and Health efforts during remediation activities for a USEPA Superfund Removal Action Project at Shore Road and the Housatonic Boat Club in Stratford, CT.
