Requires demonstrated ability to effectively lead the project controls function on a large/complex project. Often functions on a large project or multi-project environment. This position may have group or Project Services responsibility.

Job Description:
URS Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:? Services include planning cost and schedule (work breakdown structure) metrics and tools, collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct hire and subcontract work), tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyzing (earned value, productivity, critical path, and risk analysis), and reporting.? Ensures all changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact are given visibility with the client and project management.? Manages cost and schedule data and reporting with the
Companys accounting and management information systems to facilitate meeting company performance and financial goals.? Involved in change control management, document control management, and critical path method network analysis.Level Specific Responsibilities:Business Acumen? Possesses proven knowledge in commercial strategies.? Participates in negotiations when requested and appropriate.Leadership? Responsible for project staffing decisions to meet objectives and seeks appropriate talent through prescribed Company processes and procedures.? Addresses and/or documents employee performance issues and takes lead role in resolution.? Willing to assume mentoring and training role and works within Company guidelines to establish appropriate department programs to support the process.Technical Skills? Serves when called upon as a key participant in client and/or subcontractor negotiations.? Involved with the development and maintenance of accurate budgets and insures that all project participants are aware of their budget.? Expert understanding of schedule critical path analysis, resource loading and leveling.? Assists the Project Manager in the management of project funds and financial reporting.?
