Dan Caouette

engineering & construction project manager

Mineapolis, United States
Industry Category: Design Build Firms- EPC
Relocation Preferences: no relocation
I am an accomplished engineering and construction Project Manager with over 25 collective years of involvement in the design, engineering and skilled trade construction professions.

I began as a carpenter erecting single and multi-family dwellings. After graduating from college, I was an Auto Cad designer (proficient through version 2007). As my career advanced, I took on new roles from generating material estimates and takeoffs, conducting code reviews, coordinating material procurement issues, responding to RFI and field bulletins and resolving field issues.

The last and most recent 12 years have been spent as a design, engineering and construction phase Project Manager generating project scopes, project schedules, project budgets, negotiating Owner/Contractor contract agreements and managing the engineering and construction process.

I've managed small $5,000.00 feasibility studies to large commercial and industrial projects in excess of $100,000,000.00. I've also been an integral individual working within a team. I work well with and support others on my team, I have excellent communication skills and I am prolific with my computer software skills. I'm knowledgeable about the skilled trade crafts and understand professional design, engineering and code official requirements. I understand all phases and sequential steps associated with the engineering and construction process very well.

I have a broad understanding with regards to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general construction, structural, earth & environmental, Industrial hygiene, alarm, paging, fire protection, smoke evacuation, client representation and specialty product vendor improvement needs.

Id welcome the opportunity to discuss my qualifications with you in further detail. Attached is my resume and project experience document.

I am currently seeking to obtain my PMP certification.
