SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE:
Established over 12 years of increasing responsibility within the operations, maintenance, and training of U.S. Naval nuclear propulsion and electric plants.  Acquired strong skills in troubleshooting, operations, scheduling of maintenance, parts research, and personnel management.  Ensured the safety of equipment and personnel as a leading supervisor and quality assurance supervisor, performing audits and verifying maintenance procedures.  Responsible for other areas, including cleanliness inspections of various systems and components, research and development of high priority maintenance procedures, as well as reviewing and correcting ships system drawings. 

 

SPECIFIC WORK/TASK EXPERIENCE:
2008 2011, USS ENTERPRISE U.S. Navy Leading Supervisor
   Supervised over 15 personnel in the operation, maintenance and training of steam driven turbine generators, main engines, distilling plants for potable water and all associated auxiliary equipment including pumps, valves, hydraulics, auxiliary turbines, air compressors, condensers, coolers, reduction gears, and various gages and instrumentation.
   Wrote over 100 work packages to include; maintenance procedures, welding, safety, parts, schematics, and quality assurance documentation for major systems and components during a two year extended dry dock shipyard restricted availability.
   Highly experienced power plant operator, providing propulsion, electrical power, water, and various other services. 
   Qualified Work Center Supervisor to schedule, supervise, audit preventative maintenance, and document and track equipment deficiencies.

2004-2008, U.S. Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, NY Instructor
   Classroom Instructor Presented lectures on Mechanical Operations and Theory for Turbines, Generators, Condensers, Pumps and related equipment and systems for naval nuclear power.
