James Mahler's executive leadership has been instrumental to the success of a wide range of organizations; from start-up companies to Fortune 500 enterprises with work experience that includes industrial engineering, process efficiency, finance, operations, administration and business development. After receiving his Executive MBA from Cornell University, Mahler held executive leadership positions with leading American energy providers including Zeigler Coal Holding Company, British Petroleum and Standard Oil of Ohio.

Since 2002 Mahler has co-founded and non-manufacturing functions of a start-up company, LifeTime Composites. Under Mahler's guidance and leadership, LifeTime has achieved the innovative launch of a game-changing green building material. Mahler's savvy at attracting angel investment and his vision of bringing a patented green technology from process to marketplace, has enabled the company to develop. launch products and grow markets nationwide. he has also delivered winning distribution relationships which include some of the most successful wholesale building supply chains and do-it-yourself retailers in the country.

Prior to starting LifeTime Lumber, Mahler was VP of SGI International, leading the company's development, investment and commercialization of cutting-edge Liquids from Coal (LFC) technology.

At Zeigler Coal Holding Company, Mahler spearheaded the executive transition team during the company's growth from a small regional producer to the nation's largest publicly traded pure play coal business. His expertise resulted in a successful integration of several very diverse businesses into a highly efficient organization. As president of the non-mining segment, Mahler was responsible for tightly managing P&L for several hundred thousand acres of land, oil and gas operations and the Liquids from Coal operations. He also effectively negotiated the sale of several non-strategic assets.

At British Petroleum and Std. of Ohio, Mahler's expertise was put to use to improve efficiencies in information systems, finance, supply chain and operations, resulting in over $100MM in cumulative savings.

Mr. Mahler has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tennessee Technological University and an Executive MBA from Cornell University with a concentration in Business Development.
