Job Description:
Primary responsibilities include leading the integrated delivery and coordination effort in pre-construction and construction through the implementation of advanced software technologies.

Identify value-focused opportunities to fulfill Customer needs and enhance the project experience through forward-focused BIM and virtual building strategies.
Assist project leaders in the field through the complete lifecycle of building projects with production and use of 3D models and BIM visual aids.
Generate models for evaluation, planning, and production.
Support project teams through the development of logistic studies.
Manage and facilitate design coordination across disciplines.
Serve as the project's primary point of contact for the management and implementation for 3D technology use.
Coordinate and guide the management of shop drawing/model production.
Incorporate construction methods in a 3 dimensional environment. (i.e. prioritizing modeling efforts on building components, elements, and conditions requiring enhanced study for proper coordination and construction).
Maintain high level of competency of software through continued use and training.
Train project team members in the management and use of virtual design and construction information.
Lead the development of models to support production and field productivity.
Typically located on project site and will work directly with project team.

Provide leadership to other team members in the department by displaying resourcefulness, self-starting work habits, and creativity in problem solving based on information and judgment.

B.S. or B.A. degree or higher education from an accredited college or university in construction management, architecture, or computer aided design.
A minimum of 5 years of progressively more challenging commercial construction management experience or equivalent combining education and experience. Licensure in professional field is recommended.
Possess technical knowledge of commercial building design and documentation
Ability to use computer aided design software

Strong verbal and graphic communication ability
Willingness to be given instruction and follow through with production
Self Starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
Vigor and desire to learn new processes and technologies
Strong understanding of complex construction detailing
Beginning knowledge of project scheduling and construction cost; understanding of the things that impact cost and understanding of the cost estimating.

Minimum Software proficiencies:
High level of competency with advanced software. (2D and 3D AutoCAD minimum)
Proficiency with Autodesk Architectural Desktop (ADT), Autodesk Building Systems (ABS), Autodesk Revit or Graphisoft Constructor preferred

Additional Software proficiencies:
Navisworks, Primavera, and 3DS Max or Viz.
Animation experience a plus
