Interviewing & Job Hunting Questions

Can I Renege on a Construction Job To Accept Another Offer?

Add Answer
construction executives should never accept new jobs until after they have
received a written offer from an construction employer. construction recruiters can describe
a construction employer's pay and benefits package, but their word isn't binding.
If you give only a tentative acceptance and no start date has
been scheduled, you may escape with relatively minor damage to
your reputation. When nixing your acceptance with your construction recruiter
and hiring construction manager, be as honest as possible. You might say that a
second offer arrived before you received the formal proposal from the first construction employer, and it's too good to turn down.
