Crane Operators do the following:

OPERATION OF THE CRANE TO LOAD, REMOVE, AND HANDLE MATERIAL DURING PROCESSING ORDERS.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: READ PICK TICKETS, OPERATE RAYMOND SIDELOADER, IDENTIFY MATERIAL,OPERATE HUBTEX, OPERATE CRANES CHANGE BATTERIES IN RAYMOND/HUBTEX, PERFORMING HEAVY WORK, OPERATE COMPUTER, MEASURING MATERIAL BANDING EQUIPMENT, COUNTING MATERIAL, OPERATE FORK TRUCK, SCAN PICK TICKET FOR BILLING. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT A MINIMUM OF 75LBS (regular light duty)AND MAXIMUM 100LBS (occasionally). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FALLOWS: CLIMBING, REACHING, PULLING, STOOPING, STANDING, LIFTING, BALANCING, WALKING, GRASPING, KNEELING, PUSHING, HEAVY WORK. NEED TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE WORKING IN THE FOLLOWING WORKING CONDITIONS INSIDE-SUBJECT TO EXTREME COLD, EXTREME HEAT, NOISE, HAZARDS (MECHANICAL PART ETC.), FUMES, ODORS, DUSTS, MISTS, AND POOR VENTILATION. WILL ALSO BE ASSISTING IN THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF TRUCKS.

Job requirements: This job requires a high school diploma.

Specific requirements: This job has some special requirements. You must undergo drug screening, pass a physical examination and maintain union membership.
