Employer Hiring & Recruitment Questions

How can Construction Employers Fight the Economic Downturn?

Add Answer
Designers and Contractors are fighting a battle with both the slow economy, and the fact experienced workers are retiring at a faster rate than they can be replaced with trained younger workers.

What's a contractor to do? Can contractors fight back?

The answer is yes they can!

Some contractors are fighting this battle by improving on their existing IT technology with new tools to improve productivity that enables them to design and build out projects without increasing their workforce. IT technology can dramatically reduce costs while improving quality. Faced with a shrinking (baby boomer retirement) and less experienced workforce (shortage of new younger entries), and the massive effort required to replace existing networks with intelligent networks, employers should be increasingly looking to model-based design and 3D visualization technology to enable them to meet their customers' expectations and survive the market downturn.
