Resume Writing & Cover Letter Questions

I want to sell myself in my construction resume. How do I do that?

Add Answer

Your construction resume introduces you to your prospective construction employer. If you have done your research into the nature of the construction employer you're applying to, then you'll be able to come up with some idea of what they need from the construction executive who will fill the position you want. Try to come up with a single sentence that captures your unique cost-saving benefit to the construction employer, the one thing that makes you the right construction executive for the job and makes the construction employer lucky to get you. Example: As a veteran of both successful and unsuccessful projects, I can plan for success, manage toward that goal, and quickly recognize and solve problems before they hurt the final outcome.
